February, 24, 2002   The power is finally on. When the wind blew, we had this low moaning sound throughout the house. No amount of searching turned up an answer. I tried removing the soffit vent covers; opening doors and windows. The day I turned on the water heater breakers, I felt a cool breeze on my arm. Short story; the wind was blowing into the weatherhead on the pole, traveling down the conduit through the meter and emergency cutoff switch and under the drive up to the breaker box. From there it followed the conduit up between the ceiling and upper floor where it resonated throughout the house. A giant tuba. A shot of Great Stuff foam in the conduit exorcised our ghosts.
