October 21, 2000   I installed the rest of the bottom plate. 2 x 6 treated with two beads of heavy duty construction adhesive and half inch anchor bolts every six feet with three 2 1/2 inch concrete nails between. THEN, I discovered that treated lumber is not very accurate as far as dimension. Some of it was 5 3/4 wide. I trimmed it with a rip fence on my power hand saw. I then routed the edges to a 1/4 inch radius. All 200 hundred feet of it. Two 24 foot panels in 11 days doesn't seem like much but keep in mind it has rained nearly every day. Chalk lines don't last long when snapping on wet wood.
